Smoke detector Guardion for the deaf from Humantechnik

Humantechnik smoke detectors provide more safety in case of fire. The deaf smoke detector is also a LISA radio transmitter. This is powered by a permanently installed battery. The battery life is about 10 years.

Humantechnik has adapted the proven Guardion smoke detectors to Lisa radio technology. When smoke develops, the smoke detector immediately sends a signal to all existing radio receivers. At the same time, it emits a warning tone with a volume of 85dB. The Lisa receivers immediately emit flashes of light or vibrations. The LED indicators on the receivers flash on all fields.

The smoke detectors can be mounted to the ceiling with either screws or an adhesive strip. There is a magnet in the base of the smoke detector that automatically activates the smoke detector when it is screwed in. For long life and high reliability, the smoke detector has a "pollution compensation" feature. This means that the smoke detector also checks its measuring chambers for dirt in the course of a function test. If dirt particles settle in the measurement chambers over the years, the alarm threshold adjusts automatically.

Smoke detectors must be tested for function at least once a year. The test is started by simply pressing the test button on the smoke detector. (See also test protocol) The test checks:

Please note:

For a radio light signal system, you need at least 1 transmitter and 1 receiver from the Humantechnik Funk Lisa program. If you have a transmitter, you can combine it with any number of receivers. When the transmitter triggers, each receiver will respond.

Versely, one receiver can be combined with multiple transmitters because the signaling is different for each transmitter. The flash sequence that indicates an incoming phone call is different from the one that signals the doorbell ringing. Lighting systems can be expanded by individual modules at any time. A newly added element is automatically recognized. Installation of transmitters and receivers is usually not required. The signal is transmitted by radio from the transmitter to the individual receivers with a range of 80 meters.
